Dear Colleagues,

the Virgo-EGO Science Forum (VESF) is organizing the 2013 School on “Gravitational waves, neutrinos and multiwavelenght observations: the new frontier of astronomy”, to be held on April 15-18, 2013 at the Astronomical Observatory of Rome in Monteporzio Catone (Rome, Italy). In this year’s program more emphasis is devoted to the search for the astrophysical counterparts of candidate gravitational wave events detected by Advanced Virgo and LIGO. The goal is to stimulate the interest and foster the collaboration of students and young researchers from both the GW and astrophysical communities in the one of the most challenging and exciting scientific enterprises of the 2010’s.

The deadline for application is March 10th, 2013.
At the school website:

http://www.roma1.infn.it/teongrav/VESF/SCHOOL2013_WEBSITE/Vesf_School.html

you can find the application form, the school program (also attached to this message), a list of hotels and directions on how to reach the observatory and the hotel.

VESF will provide lunches and transportation from the center of Frascati to the Observatory and back every day.

Travel, lodging and dinner expenses should be covered by the applicant or by his/her home institution. Participants are requested to make their own hotel reservation (please see the School web site), by March 10th, 2013 (mention that you are participating in the school).

Please note that April is high season, and late reservations may be difficult.
