PhD Positions in Black Hole Accretion and Strong Gravity at MPE, Germany

Applications are invited for PhD positions in black hole astrophysics at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics starting summer or fall 2015. The successful applicants will work with Dr. Jason Dexter and other members of the Infrared/Submillimeter group on topics related to black hole accretion physics and strong gravity, including the Event Horizon Telescope and VLTI GRAVITY experiments. Applicants with interests in theory, computation, or observation are all welcome to apply.

The MPE and the neighboring MPA offer a vibrant science environment with expertise in a broad spectrum of research topics and access to world class facilities.
