Two-year postdoctoral position in Rome, Italy

The General Relativity and Gravitational Waves group at the “Sapienza” University of Rome will shortly be advertising for a two-year postdoctoral position, funded by the “Sapienza” University and by the Italian Space Agency (ASI).

The group currently includes three faculty members (Prof. Valeria Ferrari, Dr. Omar Benhar and Dr. Leonardo Gualtieri), one postdoc and two graduate students (http://www.roma1.infn.it/teongrav/). We are seeking applications from candidates who would reinforce our research effort in the study of astrophysical sources of gravitational waves.

The position will start at end 2009/beginning 2010. The net salary is about 1500 euros (2100 USD) per month. Applications should be sent between 1 September and 30 September.
