The Albert Einstein Institute will host a 2 day meeting to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the Kerr metric. Speakers include Roy Kerr, Leor Barack, Roger Blandford, Mihalis Dafermos, Atish Dhabholkar, Gia Dvali, Jean Eisenstaedt, Reinhard Genzel, B. Sathyaprakash, Saul Teukolsky, Joris Verbiest, and Marta Volonteri. The meeting will take place 4-5 July 2013, immediately before the GR 20 – Amaldi conference in Warsaw, which begins on July 7. The conference registration fee will include a banquet hosted by the Ambassador of New Zealand.
