8th Gulf Coast Gravity Meeting
Gainesville FL
February 27 – 28, 2015
The “Florida Gravity’’ group at the University of Florida will host the 8th Gulf Coast Gravity Meeting in Gainesville FL on February 27 – 28, 2015. The GCGM is a regional meeting that brings together researchers in all areas of gravitational physics from the southeast region of the US. Even you are not from this region, you are still welcome! GCGM8 will consist of contributed talks in an informal atmosphere, with time for discussion. Students are especially encouraged to participate and give talks. The Blue Apple Award, sponsored by the APS Topical Group in Gravitation, will be awarded to the best student presentation.
Click on the conference URL for details about registration, submitting an abstract, accommodations, etc.
There is no registration fee; if you are a student, please indicate if you could use travel support. We have obtained financial support from various sources, and we will divide the available amount (which is quite limited!) between all students who request it, and if funds are still available we may be able to provide partial support also for postdocs.
