16th Canadian Conference on General Relativity and Relativistic Astrophysics, Vancouver, 6-8 July 2016

We are pleased to announce that the 16th Canadian Conference on General Relativity and Relativistic Astrophysics (CCGRRA16) will be held 6-8 July 2016 at Simon Fraser University’s downtown campus in Vancouver, Canada.  As with previous meetings in the CCGRRA series, the goal is to bring together both Canadian and international relativists for scientific discussion and exchange.  Topics covered include mathematical and numerical relativity, quantum gravity, relativistic astrophysics, and cosmology.

Confirmed (* indicates tentatively) plenary speakers are Spyros Alexakis, Robert Brandenberger*, Matt Choptuik, David Garfinkle, Jack Gegenberg, Gil Holder, Vicky Kaspi, Luis Lehner, Don Page*, Dejan Stojkovic, and David Wands.

In addition to the plenary lectures, time will be allotted in the afternoons for contributed talks from members of the national and international community. Postdocs and graduate students are especially encouraged to contribute talks.
