Lectureship in General Relativity and Partial Differential Equations, Cambridge, UK
Applications are invited for the post of University Lecturer in General Relativity and Partial Differential Equations. The post will be held jointly in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) and the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics (DPMMS).
Applicants are expected to have expertise in Analysis and General Relativity. Their research is expected to combine nonlinear PDE theory (which may include numerical aspects) with problems connected to gravitational waves, stability of black holes and related issues in Theoretical Physics.
