We will hold the 5th edition of the conference series “The Modern Physics of Compact Stars and Relativistic Gravity” in Yerevan, Armenia, during September 17-21, 2019. Its aim to bring together people working in astrophysics of compacts stars, physics of dense matter, gravitation and cosmology, observations of pulsars and binary neutron stars and related fields. It is devoted to the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of the Yerevan State University and will be held at the University Campus in the city center.
The focus of the conference will be on:
. Gravitational waves from compact objects
. Fundamental properties of superdense matter and equation of state
. Numerical simulations of compact stars
. Transport processes in heavy ion collisions and compact stars
. Thermal, magnetic and rotational evolution of neutron stars
. Alternative theories of gravity
. Advances in cosmology
Special sessions are planned on 21 September devoted to the celebration of 60th birthday of Prof. David Blaschke and 80th birthday of Prof. David Sedrakian.
