The appointment is for up to two years with a starting date of 1 February 2019 and a salary of R220 000 per year, to work on a project “Cauchy Characteristic Matching, and Other Uses of the Characteristic Method in Numerical Relativity”. In particular, we are seeking to further develop our matching code, which uses the Cactus framework with a BSSN code in the interior and a characteristic code in the exterior.
