The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Washington State University, Pullman, WA invites applications for a permanent, full-time, tenure-track faculty position in astrophysics at the assistant or associate professor level beginning August 16, 2020. Candidates working in all areas of astronomy, astrophysics, and gravitational physics will be considered. The Department is especially interested in candidates whose research complements the work of existing faculty, for example on galaxy evolution, gravitational waves, or relativity. The successful applicant will be expected to establish a vigorous externally funded research program and to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
