The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in September 2022. We seek an expert in scientific computing with a strong record of research in the area of general relativity including gravitational wave astrophysics (theory, data analysis, or source modeling), computational relativity, or computational relativistic astrophysics.
We seek candidates from any area that complements or diversifies the research strengths of UMass Dartmouth’s computational relativity and astrophysics research groups (the current group is Collin Capano, Scott Field, Robert Fisher, and Gaurav Khanna) and our Center for Scientific Computing and Visualization Research.
