The Department of Physics (http://physics.fau.edu) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) intends to fill a postdoctoral position in theoretical aspects of gravity, beginning in September 2022, for a period of two years (the precise start date is negotiable). The successful candidate will participate in the research programs led by Professors Jonathan Engle and Muxin Han. These include mathematical and numerical projects in quantum gravity, quantum cosmology and quantum black holes, especially in the spin foam/loop quantum gravity approach.
The larger theoretical gravity group faculty at FAU include additionally Professors Christopher Beetle, Wolfgang Tichy, and Warner Miller. The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with these faculty members as well.
