Qualification: The candidate must hold a doctoral degree by the time of appointment
Job description: This position is funded by JSPS KAKENHI ” Theoretical studies for multi-messenger signals from strongly gravitating objects” (PI: Masaru Shibata). The successful candidate is expected to work with PI and other members (Kunihito Ioka, Yu-ichiro Sekiguchi, Kenta Hotokezaka) on this project.
Job location: Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, Kyoto University, Kitashirakawa Oiwakecho, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto.
Expected start date: As soon as possible after April 1st, 2024
Contract term: The successful candidate is appointed to renewable one-year terms up to 31st March 2028.
Probation period: 6 months
Business hours: Discretionary labor system, based on 7 hours, 45 minutes (8:30-17:15 work schedule with a one-hour break) per day, 38 hours 45 minutes per week.
Days off: Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays, Year-end and New Year holidays, and the University Foundation Day.
Salary: Determined by qualifications and experience (Annual salary). A small amount of research grants is provided.
Allowance: Any allowance, such as commuting expenses, housing expenses, bonuses, etc. is not provided.
