POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITION AT NUCLEAR PHYSICS DEPARTMENT
The Nuclear Physics Department of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics and Engineering in Bucharest, Romania invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the field of neutron stars. The position is for 24 months with a start date preferably before September 1st, 2024 (flexible).
The candidate must have a PhD degree (or equivalent) in theoretical nuclear or astro- physics, established track record in neutron star physics and excellent computational skills. The successful applicant will join the group of Dr. Raduta and Dr. Beznogov and pursue research in one of the following subjects: equations of state, crust formation andcrystallization, non-equilibrium neutrino processes, transport properties.
