The Mathematical Physics Group of the University of Burgos, Spain invites applications for a (maximum) 18-month postdoctoral position in high-energy theoretical physics, to begin at the latest in early Fall 2024.
Candidates must hold a PhD degree (in Physics or Mathematics) by the beginning of September 2024, and have a good knowledge of quantum field theory and the Standard Model, as well as a solid basis in Lie group theory, differential and Riemannian geometry, and other mathematical methods of theoretical physics. Not required, but welcome, is previous knowledge of quantum groups, Hopf algebra theory, noncommutative geometry methods and noncommutative field theory.
The salary will be approximatively 3600 EUR/month before taxes.
