The Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation at the University of Portsmouth are pleased to advertise a new Senior Lecturer position. The successful applicant will deliver world-leading research outputs that complement and extend the existing portfolio of cosmology, gravitation and astrophysics research at the institute. The applicant will work with our existing team of Research Software Engineers to apply their data science expertise to tackle data-intensive problems. This work will have real-world impact within the institute’s core remit and through collaborations with researchers across the University and external partners. The applicant will contribute to teaching in the physics and maths programs and will have the opportunity to engage in outreach and public engagement in line with the institute’s objectives.
