The II Sao Paulo School on Gravitational Physics (II GraSP) is an initiative led by early-career researchers to explore and promote the multifaceted aspects of gravity. In 2025, we invite students with prior experience in general relativity to learn more about twistors and tests of strong gravity, while younger students will have the opportunity to explore special relativity and the fundamental principles of black hole physics.
There is no registration fee.
Registration: 15 June 2025 to 07 July 2025
School: 14 July 2025 to 18 July 2025
Languages: Two courses in English (twistors and strong gravity), and two courses in Portuguese (special relativity and black holes).
Eligible Applicants: All interested physics students may apply for courses in English, and Brazilian physics students may apply for courses in Portuguese. Courses in English assume previous experience with general relativity, courses in Portuguese do not.
