The Physics Laboratory at Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon (LPENSL) is opening a 2-year postdoctoral position in theoretical gravitational physics, funded by the ANR “GeneraSyOn”, under the direction of Marc Geiller, with collaborators Simone Speziale and Alejandro Perez at the CPT in Marseille. The position includes the possibility of spending up to 6 months in Marseille. The research topics focus on mathematical and observational aspects of classical and quantum gravity, and specifically: gravitational waves and asymptotic symmetries, classical and quantum black holes, flat/celestial holography, loop quantum gravity.
Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree in physics by start date, and have research experience in the research topics listed above.
