The conference is a part of the Simons Programme on Twistor Theory and its Applications taking place in the Institute of Matematics, Polish Academy of Sciences.
The focus is the recent progress in classification of gravitational instantons in Einstein and Einstein Maxwell theory. This has been  achieved, in the last decade, using a mixture of integrable systems (harmonic maps, twistor theory), general relativity (rod structures, black hole uniqueness theorems), conformal geometry, and geometric analysis (toric manifolds) techniques.
Each of these approaches will be presented at the conference both at the introductory and technical levels.
