The Laboratory of Astronomy, Cosmology and Space Technologies at the Institute for Advanced Studies, New Uzbekistan University (NewUU), invites applications for two postdoctoral researcher positions.
Research Focus
– Development of astrophysical models of black holes
– Numerical simulations in relativistic astrophysics
– Applications of advanced computational methods in theoretical astrophysics
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Astrophysics, Physics, or a closely related discipline
– Strong background in relativistic astrophysics
– Good coding skills (C/C++, Python, Fortran, or similar)
– Experience with numerical modeling or simulations is an advantage
Appointment
– Initial term: 1 year
– Renewable for up to 2 additional years (1+2 years total) based on performance
