The School of Science at Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (JUST) invites application for faculty position in broad areas of theoretical physics, including Gravitation, Cosmology, and High Energy Physics. Appointments are expected to commence on September 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.
We seek outstanding candidates with a strong record of high-impact research who can establish an independent research program and contribute to teaching and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students at JUST. Applicants should hold a PhD in Physics and have at least three years of postdoctoral research experience outside mainland China.
The annual salary and startup package are competitive and negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and academic achievements. In addition, successful candidates will be encouraged to apply for various national and provincial research grants and talent programs, including:
1. Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas) supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC);
2. Research Fund for International Scientists (NSFC) (for non-Chinese candidates).
3. Research grants of Jiangsu province;
