This is an announcement of the third series (2026-1) of the SCONE seminar. The aim of SCONE is to bring researchers in semiclassical gravity together via a series of online seminars.
The 2026-1 series will take place between February and May 2026. The time of the seminar is at 4 pm UK local time (in Summer time at the time of announcement, GMT+1) , according to the following calendar:
February 2nd 2026: Albert Much (Leipzig, Germany).
March 2nd 2026: Noa Zilberman (Princeton, USA) .
April 13th 2026: Ivette Fuentes (Southampton, UK).
May 11th Jose’ Navarro-Salas (Valencia, Spain).
The title for the first talk of the series by Dr Much is: “Generalizing Jacobson’s Derivation to QFT via modular theory.” The rest of the titles will be announced in due course.
