International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics Network (ICRANet) organizes the Sixth Zeldovich meeting, an international conference in honor of Ya. B. Zeldovich, which will be held in Pescara, Italy, on July 13-17, 2026. This conference will follow a series of international conferences in honor of Ya. B. Zeldovich, respectively held in Minsk in 2009, 2014, 2018, 2020 (online) and in Yerevan in 2023.
Exceptionally wide research interests of Ya. B. Zeldovich and his school, ranging from chemical physics, elementary particle and nuclear physics to astrophysics and cosmology, provide the topics to be covered during the conference:
* observations of Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect and its cosmological implications;
* gamma-ray bursts, neutron stars, black holes;
* little red dots, quasars and dark matter;
* Multimessenger astrophysics;
* Hubble tension;
* Neutron stars, black holes; black hole mass formulae, Belinskii-Khalatnikov-Lifshitz picture of black hole, reversible versus irreversible transformations; the physics of irreducible mass;
* Quantum and gravity
The registration fee will be:
* Early bird regular fee: 300 Euros (up to April 30, 2026)
* Late fee: 450 Euros (after April 30, 2026)
* Early bird reduced fee: 150 Euros (applied to students and retired scientists, up to April 30, 2026)
