Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce an upcoming conference on Causal Set Theory. Please see the details below:
On 7 – 8 September 2026, the Royal Society will host a residential Theo Murphy meeting in Manchester, on the topic of quantum gravity and causal set theory.
The meeting will be led by Dr Yasaman Yazdi from the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies and Dr Stav Zalel from the University of Cambridge.
Causal set theory is an approach to quantum gravity where spacetime is discrete. During this meeting, speakers and panelists will take a critical look at the past, present and future of causal set theory.
Researchers from inside and outside the field will discuss progress in kinematics, phenomenology and dynamics.
This meeting is intended for researchers in relevant fields. Places are limited and advance registration is essential.

More information about the speakers, programme and how to register for this meeting can be found on the website.
