This new version of OGRePy is released shortly after the OGRe v2.0.0 release (see separate announcement on Hyperspace), and includes many of the new features, performance optimizations, and bug fixes from that release, as well as additional improvements specific to the Python version.
Highlights from the new features include:
* The Weyl tensor is now built-in.
* Multiple fixes and improvements to derivative notation when displaying tensors.
* The geodesic classes have been improved.
* Many performance optimizations; expect the package to work a lot faster now!
* Various bug fixes.
* OGRePy Live (which allow users to run OGRePy directly from the browser without installation) now includes a more helpful starting notebook with some coordinate systems and metrics pre-defined, as well as suggestions for things to try.
* Tested and verified to accurately reproduce a wide variety of known results from differential geometry and general relativity.
