We are pleased to announce the workshop: “From Quantum Gravity to Cosmology”, 28 September – 2 October 2026, Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe, Kashiwa, Japan
The workshop will bring together researchers in quantum gravity and cosmology to discuss major open questions at the interface between the two fields, from the challenges and tensions emerging within the Lambda-CDM model to recent progress in understanding the quantum origin of the universe and the fundamental physics underlying cosmological models.
The program will include invited and contributed talks, poster sessions, and substantial time for discussion. To encourage exchange across different research communities, speakers will be encouraged to begin their presentations with an accessible introduction before moving to more specialized results and open questions.
Registration is now open for both in-person and remote participation. The call for abstracts is also open to participants attending in person.
Further information, including the list of invited speakers and the registration and abstract-submission forms, is available on the conference website: https://indico.ipmu.jp/event/520/
