Applications are invited for a fully funded 4-year PhD studentship at the University of Sheffield, working with Dr Eleonora Di Valentino on cosmological tensions.
The project will investigate current challenges to the standard cosmological model, with a particular focus on cosmological tensions and their possible implications for new physics.
Start date: 2027 (to be agreed with the successful candidate)
Funding: Fully funded for 4 years
Eligibility: UK Home students only. Unfortunately, international applicants are not eligible for this studentship.
