Ten years after the first multi-messenger detection of a binary neutron star merger, this meeting will bring together researchers across gravitational-wave instrumentation and data analysis, radio, X-ray and optical astronomy, merger and kilonova modeling, and experts in dense-matter theory and nucleosynthesis. The goals are to consolidate what a decade of observation and modeling has taught us about GW170817, and to prepare the community for the next such event, which could arrive at any time.
