We are offering a one year non renewable post doc position at the university of Brest (UBO) in western Brittany, France, at the laboratory of mathematics (LMBA). The main topic is asymptotic analysis in general relativity with a preferred orientation towards conformal methods. Applicants from both mathematics and physics are welcome, with an expected strong background in at least one of the following fields: general relativity, differential and conformal geometry, analysis of PDEs. Net salary is around 2250 euros per month; as a salary, it is subject to income tax.
The successful applicant will be expected to start on the first of September 2015, but the starting date may be postponed as late as January 1st 2016 if requested. This is a pure-research position, no teaching duty is expected. This position is part of the AARG project.
