The INFN-FieLdsAndGravity (FLAG) group invites applications for one postdoctoral fellowship in Theoretical Physics to carry our research in Quantum Fields of Gravity, Cosmology and Black holes in Bologna, Italy. FLAG is an Italian research network (Iniziativa Specifica) sponsored by INFN and devoted to studying theoretical gravitational physics, with units in the Physics and Astronomy Department of Bologna University, University of Insubria in Como, TIFPA and University of Trento, SISSA and University of Trieste.
Eligible candidates may be non-Italian citizens or Italian citizens who hold a position in a foreign institution and have been continuously abroad for at least three years. The candidates should have a PhD in physics and research experience in relativity and quantum field theory, cosmology and black hole physics. The fellowship is provided by INFN and all details can be found in the official announcement (www.ac.infn.it/personale/borsedistudio/pdf/getfile.php?filename=16726.pdf). The application must be uploaded on the INFN web site at www.ac.infn.it/personale/theo_fellowships/ and should comprise a CV, a publication list, and the names and e-mail addresses of three referees. Candidates must also specify they are applying for the position with the Bologna group (www-th.bo.infn.it/activities/bo11/bo11/).
Applications will have to be sent by 15.11.2014, no exception allowed, and the position shall start no later than 01.11.2015.
