The gravity and high energy astrophysics group at Fudan University (Shanghai, China) has 1-2 postdoctoral positions for the next academic year. Applications from candidates working in any research area of gravity and high energy astrophysics will be considered, but preference may be given to those with interest/experience in:
1) Physics and astrophysics of black holes
2) X-ray astronomy (theory or data analysis)
3) Alternative theories of gravity
4) Gravitational waves (theory)
The group is led by Cosimo Bambi and currently consists of 3 postdocs (Priti Mishra, Diego Rubiera-Garcia, Naoki Tsukamoto), a long-term visitor (Ivan Arraut), and several graduate and undergraduate students. Additional details about projects and activities can be found here:

The group has also interactions with other groups at Fudan, in particular the ones of particle cosmology (Antonino Marciano) and quantum gravity (Leonardo Modesto).

Salary: The salary starts from 100,000 CNY/year (about 1,000 EUR/month, tax-free for non-Chinese researchers). Candidates with a PhD from an overseas top university may be eligible to apply for fellowships from the Central Government of 200,000 CNY/year.
Housing: Fudan can provide apartments of 50-80 square meters inside the campus at very convenient rental rates.
