The Quantum Gravity équipe of the ‘Centre de Physique Theorique de Luminy’ in Marseille, France, offers a postdoctoral position for the duration of one year. The position must start before October 1st 2015; earlier start is welcome.
Candidates are requested to have knowledge in quantum gravity and be interested in collaborating with the group. The group (http://www.cpt.univ-mrs.fr/~quantumgravity/) is currently formed by four faculties, four postdocs, four graduate students and two long term visitors. Current research interests include: loop quantum gravity, singularity free black holes (from various quantum gravity theories), black hole thermodynamics, spin networks and twisted geometries, spinfoams, twistors, loop quantum cosmology, fast radio bursts and gamma ray bursts, generally covariant statistical mechanics. The group is associated to the Samy Maroun Center for Time Space and the Quantum (http://www.cpt.univ-mrs.fr/~gravity/CenterEN.html).
