Two postdoc positions in theoretical high energy physics and cosmology at the Niels Bohr Institute, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen
Area of Research
The research program in question, “Exploring the Quantum Universe”, is aimed at quantum gravity and quantum cosmology in the broadest sense, but people with research interest in neighboring areas like black hole physics are also invited to apply. The positions are financed by an ERC-Advanced grant held by Jan Ambjorn, and will each be for two years, starting latest September 2015.
The postdoc’s duty will be to pursue independent, excellent and ground-breaking research related to the above mentioned areas.

Qualification requirements
A PhD in physics and research experience in the areas mentioned above.
Terms of salary, work, and employment
The basic salary is between 4400-4700 EUR/month plus pension (17%). Most non-Danish citizens are eligible for a favorable tax scheme.
