The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a postdoctoral research position beginning September 2018 in gravitational wave astronomy, numerical relativity and related areas. The successful applicant will work with Prof. Emanuele Berti and with other postdocs and students in the group. There will be opportunities for collaboration with other postdocs, with students, and with other faculty. There are also opportunities to work with scientists at the Space Telescope Science Institute and with collaborators at other institutions, including Montana State University and Penn State University (US), Lisbon and Aveiro (Portugal), Cambridge (UK), Rome (Italy), Paris (France), Perimeter Institute (Canada) and Osaka University (Japan). A Ph.D. in physics or astronomy is required.
