The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology is an English-speaking and dynamic graduate-only university in Japan. We are inviting applications for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions.

Applications are sought in the broad area of science, engineering, and technology. As part of our expansion plan, we seek to hire 20 faculty by 2026 with up to 10 faculty in this initial round. We aim to enhance and complement existing strengths in fields, including (but not limited to) life sciences, environmental sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, computational sciences, and engineering.
