The Department of Physics at the University of Haifa invites applications for postdoctoral positions in black-hole physics. Candidates with expertise in gravitational physics, broadly defined, and/or relativistic astrophysics, are encouraged to apply. The appointment is for 2+1 years, beginning at or before fall 2024. The successful candidates will be offered a competitive scholarship, relocation expenses, computer facilities, and travel funds. The group maintains a strong collaboration with research groups at different Israeli institutions, in particular at the neighboring Technion, and postdocs are encouraged to pursue independent research.

Applicants are asked to email a description of research achievements and future plans, a curriculum vitae with a list of publications, and arrange for three letters of reference to be emailed to Shahar Hadar by Dec. 1st 2023. Applicants should have a PhD by the anticipated starting date.
