Koc University, a foundation-supported, non-profit institution of higher education in Istanbul, Turkiye, invites applications for full-time faculty positions in Theoretical or Experimental Physics that will complement and/or expand the current research activities of the Physics Department. Current research areas include biological physics, cold atoms, condensed and soft matter physics, gravitation and high energy physics, micro/nano photonic materials and devices, quantum computation, quantum optics, solid-state lasers, ultrafast optics, and biomedical optics.
Post-doctoral experience is required. Candidates are expected to develop a competitive research program and teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses. The medium of instruction is English. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Side benefits include housing aid, health insurance and financial support for K12 education of candidates’ children.
