The Department of Mathematics of Rhodes University has two vacancies, one at Senior Lecturer level and another one Lecturer level. One of the appointments will be in Applied Mathematics, and the other will be in either Applied Mathematics or in Pure Mathematics. It is essential that prospective candidates read the further particulars relating to this post and that all relevant documentation is submitted. Candidates at Senior Lecturer level should have:
A PhD in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, and have a solid record of publications in accredited journals. They should also have experience in teaching at the undergraduate and post-graduate level in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, or for those with work experience largely in a research environment some teaching experience.

Candidates at Lecturer level should have:
At least an MSc in Mathematics, together with evidence of being on track towards obtaining a doctoral degree. Some teaching or tutoring experience in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics is a requirement.
