ICTP-SAIFR School and Workshop on Dark Matter and Neutrino Detection
July 23 – August 3, 2018, Sao Paulo, Brazil

http://www.ictp-saifr.org/DMneutrino18 – Application deadline: May 11, 2018

There is no registration fee and limited funds are available for travel and local expenses.

The event is aimed at a general public with interest in astrophysics, astroparticle physics, high-energy physics, and related fields, with a theoretical or an experimental background.

The main target are graduate students (MSc and PhD) and post-docs, but advanced undergraduate students and faculty will also be considered. The first week will consist of theoretical introductory courses and lectures, with time for discussions and practical activities. The second is devoted to experimental projects and methods, with hands-on experimental activities.

This activity will be followed by a workshop on the Agua Negra Deep Experiment Site (ANDES), a proposed facility in South America that could host both Dark Matter and neutrino experiments.
