Postdoctoral Researcher in High Energy Nuclear Physics at the University of Kansas

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral researcher position in high energy nuclear physics with the University of Kansas beginning as early as September 1, 2018 or until the position is filled. This position will be in residence at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. Post-doctoral researcher candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in physics by date of appointment and research experience in high energy nuclear science or a related experimental field. Successful candidates will contribute in several aspects of the nuclear group’s research program including data analysis in the Heavy Ion and Standard Model group, MC production, detector development and operation, data analysis and event simulation, and publication of research results.
