West Virginia University is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow within the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
The successful applicant will join the West Virginia University Gravitational-Wave Astrophysics Center (GWAC) and the NANOGrav Physics Frontiers Center. The ideal candidate will contribute to ongoing efforts to model the gravitational-wave signals observable by NANOGrav, by incorporating observational data into population models, and using those results to make predictions about the observability of a stochastic background and individually resolvable signals.
In addition, the candidate will have the opportunity to advise graduate students and undergraduates on projects related to the development of gravitational-wave models relevant to NANOGrav.
