We are pleased to announce the second international conference of the series COSMOLOGY@CCSP, which is held annually at The Thanu Padmanabhan Centre for Cosmology and Science Popularization(CCSP), SGT University. This year the conference will take place from 29th November to 1st December, 2023. The title of COSMO@CCSP_2 is: “Current Trends in Cosmology and High Energy Physics”.
This year the keynote address will be delivered by Anzhong Wang, Baylor University, Texas. Also, Meghnad Saha lecture will take place on the last day of the conference and the speaker will be Prof. Gautam Bhattacharyya from SINP, Kolkata. The list of the plenary speakers can be found in the poster.
We encourage students, postdocs, and early-career researchers to submit their abstracts for the parallel sessions. Please take note, that the last date for the abstract submission (for parallel session speakers) is 25.10.2023. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by 27.10.2023 and the registration deadline is 10.11.2023.
The selected outstation (Outside Delhi – NCR) students and postdocs will get a Travel Allowance according to the rules and regulations of IUCAA, one of the sponsoring bodies. This year the selected participants will be accommodated in the University Hostels. Only the invited speakers and guests will be provided University guest house / nearby hotel accommodation.
CCSP is a newly founded research centre with a focus on hardcore research in Cosmology and High Energy physics. We need your active support and participation to make it a successful research centre in India. Please circulate this information in your group and kindly furnish the poster (attached) to your department notice board.
