A post-doc position is available in the Department of Mathematics, Uppsala University, to work with Associate Professor Anna Sakovich in the areas of Geometric Analysis and Mathematical General Relativity. The aim of the research is to study problems in mathematical general relativity concerned with establishing a lower bound for the mass of spacetimes with certain asymptotics using methods from the calculus of variations, geometric measure theory and geometric PDEs.

This is a 2 year position financed by Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation to recruit a foreign researcher for a postdoctoral position in Sweden. The duties of a post-doc are primarily directed at their own research. The work may also involve, to a limited extent (maximum 20%), other departmental duties, mainly related to teaching.
